While on tour in North Carolina, Fred will be taking some time to work on a future recording project of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s cello sonatas with cellist Nancy Green. During his lifetime, Beethoven wrote five sonatas for cello and piano; this October, Fred and Nancy will be going over the latest ones, Op. 102 No. 1 and Op. 102 No. 2. This a project that the Fred and Nancy have been discussing for years, and even though they don’t know when they will be recording these pieces yet, fans of the duo can look forward to a 2-CD release in the near future.
